Develop your skills in technique , composition , and image processing on this photographic workshop

Meteora is a formation of immense monolithic pillars and hills-like huge rounded boulders which dominate the Plain of Thessaly near the Pineios river and Pindos Mountains, in central Greece. Their name translates to “suspended in the sky” or “in the heavens above”.
It is a site strongly related with one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance next to Mount Athos. The six monasteries are built on the top of huge rocks. The natural landscape beauty, in combination with the religional importance, has resulted to a position in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The nearest town is Kalambaka.

The workshop will start at 17:30 of Saturday at 27th October . A small tour in Meteora to explore the area will be followed by a sunset photography session in the area.
Upon our return to Kalambaka, we will go through the photos and make some corrections and image processing.
Next morning, at 06:30 we will have already taken our positions over the big monoliths, waiting for the morning light and the sunrise.
